Would I cure my disability? (Cerebral Palsy)

Would I cure my disability?

The answer is kind of complicated...I'm grateful for all the experiences Cerebral Palsy has given me, for the community it has placed me in, and for the strength I've gained from it's challenges, but as I get older I find myself seeking ways to reduce its limitations. The body really is a temple and I believe you have to invest in it to grow, both physically and spiritually. One aspect of that for me means exploring what my body is capable of outside of the habitual patterns of CP, and searching for new ways in which I can create more efficient methods of movement. Does this mean I wish to be 'normal' or able-bodied...Not necessarily.
